Scott Brown
President
As President, Scott guides strategic expansion, tactical refinements and communications outreach for each of Sabrient’s five core business units, which include Index Creation for ETF distribution; Custom Strategies, Products for Professional Brokers & Money Managers, Retail Services & Publishing, and Institutional Retail. Prior to assuming his responsibilities as President of Sabrient, Scott headed the Sabrient’s product development and marketing for individual/retail investors. His professional background includes sales and marketing leadership for Telescan, Inc. (developer of stock research tools); corporate development for financial services companies; and management of a real estate development firm.
Scott holds a Bachelor, Business Administration, from the University of Houston. He writes the Dark Horse Traders’ Hedge newsletter. Scott Martindale
Senior Vice President
Scott leads sales, marketing, and business development at Sabrient. His areas of expertise also include project management, operations, strategic planning, and equity-options trading. His corporate background includes 15 years in technical and managerial positions with Chevron Corp. He has authored numerous articles and has written a weekly column for a leading trading advisory newsletter. He holds BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona, and an MBA from California State University-Hayward.
Kassandra Bentley
Communications Director
Sandra's background spans more than twenty years in advertising and corporate communications, two of the areas she covers for Sabrient. She is coauthor, with David Brown, of four books on investing, including All About Stock Market Strategies (McGraw-Hill, June 2002) and Cyber-Investing: Cracking Wall Street with your Personal Computer (John Wiley & Sons, 1994, 1997). In 1997 she founded CyberInvest.com, which was named as one of the Web's top financial portals by Forbes and Fortune magazines. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Houston.
Carolyn Brown
Office Manager and Director
Carolyn's background spans several industries, including health care, rubber and plastics, and oil services. At Sabrient, she is in charge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Walter Gault
Communications Editor
Walter is the communications editor in charge of editing and posting all articles on the Sabrient blog, as well as writing and editing marketing materials. He also writes by-lined articles for Sabrient and affiliates and maintains four of Sabrient's virtual portfolios, including Investor’s Hedge and Earnings Busters.
He holds a B.A. in Business Economics, with a minor in Professional Writing, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
