Sabrient Systems is an independent investment research firm headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. The company was founded in 2000, and for the first five years we provided quantitative stock rankings and research to professional asset managers, with an emphasis on the hedge fund market.

In 2004 we introduced our SmartStock research reports to the individual investor clients of a number of Wall Street firms that were participants to the Global Research Analyst Settlement, and in 2006 we expanded our products for individual investors and began to approach that market directly.

Currently, we help individual investors enhance their portfolio performance by providing Smartlists of top-ranked stocks culled from our institutional-level, performance-based research. We also offer SmartStock research reports on more than 5,800 stocks.
